About Tim

Tim Graves, M.S.Ed., M.Div.

“My favorite role in life is that of ‘Daddy,’” reports Tim, a veteran early childhood educator and father of two adult children. Tim has served children and families directly through full-time work in early childhood programs as a teacher, as a director, and a parent educator. He taught early childhood courses full- and part-time at several community colleges and as a trainer through his own business. He has also worked with families in an early intervention system. 

An ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Tim is a bi-vocational minister. This means he gets to continue spending days with children and offer early childhood trainings and consultations, while serving as lead in EmbracingOne, a ministry in formation. Tim’s ministry and teaching includes a strong emphasis on respecting the journey of each individual.
